January 16, 2014, #FUTBOLNOW, Pepsi today unveiled its 2014 soccer squad, a squad that brings together unparalleled international talent to create one of the most iconic lineups ever. 19 of the world's best players from five continents and nearly 20 countries join forces with Pepsi to inspire fans around the world to live in the moment.
Superstar Leo Messi, Argentina international striker Sergio Agüero and young British talent Jack Wilshere are joined by Brazil defender David Luiz, prolific goalscorer Robin van Persie and Spain star defender Sergio Ramos as part of the global Pepsi line-up. These are complemented by additional football greats from around the world representing their home countries, including: Juan Guillermo Cuadrado (Colombia), Clint Dempsey (USA), Tarik Elyounoussi (Norway), Maynor Figueroa (Honduras), Mario Gomez (Germany), Vincent Kompany (Belgium ), Kemar Lawrence (Jamaica), Victor Moses (Nigeria), Peter Osaze Odemwingie (Nigeria), Oribe Peralta (Mexico), Andriy Pyatov (Ukraine), Mohamed Salah (Egypt) and Gylfi Por Sigurðsson (Iceland).

Earlier today, the players revealed the full roster on social media, reaching fans worldwide.
David Luiz, a regular at Premier League club Chelsea and vice-captain of the Brazil national team, comments: "I'm excited about the partnership with Pepsi and proud to be part of such a good squad. For me, football is about doing the best of every second on the pitch and show love for the game - and for the fans. I can't help but celebrate with fans all over the world a big year for football."
The announcement of this year's squad also kicked off a series of exciting activities that will run throughout 2014 as part of Pepsi's football campaign. Not only will the players star in Pepsi's global TV commercials to be released later this year, a selection of them will also be featured on limited edition packaging and points of sale worldwide. These are specially designed to bring to life the players' style and enthusiasm for the game. Special commemorative packaging with the global Pepsi players will be released in April in Sweden, while features with music, art, digital interactive experiences and additional special products will be presented later in the year.
