Now Pepsi releases a limited edition of cans with Beyoncé as the cover face. The world star thus becomes iconic and joins other big stars, including Michael Jackson and David Beckham, who have been honored to adorn a Pepsi can.
The Beyoncé cans are only available in limited edition and are part of the result of the collaboration between Pepsi and Beyoncé that began late last year. The collaboration will continue throughout Beyoncé's world tour. Beyoncé herself has also been involved in the creative work of developing the design and getting the right look for the cans. The inspiration is taken from the pop art of the twentieth century. Over the years, only a select few artists have been honored to adorn Pepsi cans, most recently Michael Jackson in a special edition.
- We are very satisfied with the result. Together with Beyoncé, we have really succeeded in achieving a "Pepsi effect" in the creative work and it is a joy to now finally see the end result in stores, says Sara Santoni, PR manager at PepsiCo Nordic.
The cans are available in stores from April and while stocks last.
On May 29th, Beyoncé will come to Stockholm, Globen, for a performance during her world tour “The Mrs. Carter Show World Tour 2013” presented by Pepsi.
