Today, Coca-Cola light, the world's best-selling light soft drink, is pleased to announce that leading visionary Marc Jacobs has been appointed as the brand's Creative Director for the year 2013. The partnership will be an exciting feature of the "SPARKLING TOGEHTER FOR 30 YEARS" campaign when the brand celebrates its 30th anniversary.
Marc Jacobs will add his creative visionary ability to the brand by creating a limited edition collection of Coca-Cola light packaging. In the collection, he brings together the chic and playful style of both style icons. Inspired by the past three decades, the elegant design celebrates charismatic strong women throughout the 80s, 90s and 00s with a humorous twist – fully in line with Jacob's own well-known style.
Marc Jacobs is one of the hottest and most influential designers of our generation and his style is characterized by a youthfulness with provocative artistry – the perfect partner for Coca-Cola light. With this exciting appointment, Coca-Cola light continues to build on its impressive heritage of fashion collaborations.

To celebrate the announcement, Coca-Cola light is launching a fun short film starring the designer himself. The film is called: "Marc Jacob's photo booth break". The teaser shows a flirtatious Marc Jacobs that brings to mind the legendary Coca-Cola light commercials from the 1990s with the handsome hunks. In his version, Jacobs interprets the commercial with a modern twist with style and light humor.
Synopsis
The film takes place in a gallery where the designer sits hidden in a photo booth with items of clothing falling to the floor. The only thing you see is his signature kilt. Three girl friends are drawn to the commotion with the camera flashes and investigate who the barefoot man might be. The drapery is pulled away and there sits Marc Jacobs drinking a Diet Coca Cola. The girls jump into the photo booth for a spontaneous photo session to celebrate Coca-Cola light turning 30 years old.
The exciting collection "Coca-Cola light Sparkling together with Marc Jacobs" in a limited edition of cans and other packaging, will be available for sale in northwestern Europe and the Nordics, including Sweden, from March 2013.
