Coca-Cola has supported e-sports for many years and now wants to take the next step into the gaming world. The new brand promise to unite people and find moments of community in a divided world is one of the reasons why Coca-Cola is now broadening its involvement in gaming. The venture is launched in connection with the new campaign We Are One Coke Away From Each Other.
Coca-Cola has supported e-sports for many years and now wants to show its support and commitment through further initiatives. In connection with the launch of the brand's new global philosophy Real Magic and campaign We Are One Coke Away From Each Other, the belief that what unites us is greater than what separates us is lifted. Coca-Cola wants to celebrate the gaming community by highlighting the belief that virtual and real worlds can meet. To spread the message, the brand collaborates with some of the world's leading influencers in gaming, such as DJ Alan Walker, Aerial Powers from Team Liquid and Average Jonas. The campaign is also part of a larger collaboration between the streaming service Twitch and Coca-Cola.
- We have been active in e-sports for many years, but now want to go a step further and show our support for the entire gaming world. For us, it's about getting involved with the people who like us in the world they're in, says Victoria Adolfsson, brand manager at Coca-Cola Sweden.
Coca-Cola has collaborated with some of the gaming world's leading organizations, such as the League of Legends Challenger Series and others. Now the brand wants to take the sponsorship to new levels through a series of planned activities.
