PRESS RELEASE
Earlier this year, Coca-Cola in Sweden broke the news of making a major investment in Swedish music artists. Coca-Cola has its roots in popular culture and has long worked with music and global artists. During the year, the brand has collaborated with some of Sweden's most interesting and acclaimed artists to enable their music videos and marketing. Now the venture continues with Cherrie and the song No Lie.
Coca-Cola has always been associated with music. Therefore, it was natural for the brand to make a big investment in the Swedish music scene and collaborate with some of Sweden's biggest artists such as Omar Rudberg, Hov1, and now Cherrie who releases her song No Lie.
- No Lie is an anthem for women who know their worth and the video represents just that. I have my sister, cousin and friends who I think are strong, beautiful and independent with me. Because that's what my whole career has been about. To find the strength in oneself by singing with words that are felt, says Cherrie.
With the major investment in music in Sweden, Coca-Cola wants to make an impression on pop culture and support several of the country's hottest stars. The Swedish investment is carried out together with United Screens Music.
- Cherrie is one of Sweden's most important role models and encourages women to dare to believe in themselves and stick out their chins. In addition, she makes fantastic music, so the choice to collaborate with Cherrie felt obvious, says Victoria Adolfsson, brand manager at Coca-Cola in Sweden.
